I was watching a show on the History Channel with my six-year-old son, when he came up with this concept. I just expanded on it.

If fish were suddenly to disappear, what would happen to our planet – the jobs we do, the everyday food we take for granted, domesticated and wild animals, freshwater and saline aquatics? What would become of the things that define our oceans – and our world?
